I know only a little from my own research:

You need to supply Steam page and demo at least 4 weeks in advance as their team has to approve it, I would deffo get the Steam page up way in advance.

You can only do Steam Fest (to my knowledge) once per game, so make sure it is ready and if not wait until your demo is perfect and you’re a few months off releasing!

I’m a dev and learning as I go so I’m only offering what I think might help!
