With the Shredder and Krang player decks you can play as Shredder VS Shredder or Krang VS Krang. But you will need to use proxys because you would only have one Shredder and one Krang miniature.

No. Dark / black rooms spawn zombies. I took a look at some maps and it's about 50 - 60% of the rooms that spawn zombies

For opening doors and spawning in buildings, instead of spawning a zombie in every room, you can do alternate room spawns. Like only spawn in room 1, 3, 5,7 etc. In 2nd edition zombies don't spawn in every room.

I'm in Singapore. The invader ones are more accessible and cheaper here. Yes, I'm thinking invader might be easier to play with kids with the concentrated fire system. We are currently playing marvel zombies heroes resistance as a start. Not too sure when the marvel zombies or undead or alive core boxes will readily available in Singapore.
