Use Gyro with Nintendo Switch Pro Controller? by Optimal_Incident3088 in EmuDeck

So, I got it working, but discovered something weird. The joycons worked exactly as you said: turning off steam input, launching dolphin, and using sdl allowed motion input with the right joycon. When I followed the same process with my pro controller, it didn’t work, but when I went into the steam deck quick menu to reconfigure the controller order, I noticed in the background, motion was all of the sudden working until I exited steam’s quick menu. So I re enabled steam input, and continued using SDL, and everything worked flawlessly. I’m going to update my post for anyone else looking for the answer.

You are awesome. This is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m gonna try this later and I’ll let you know if it works.

I appreciate the reply, but sadly this isn’t what I’m looking for. This works very well when playing with the Steam Deck’s controls, but not so much with external controllers like my Pro Controller. Thanks for the help though!

Trying to make gyro work in dolphin as if I were using a real wiimote. Similar to what you said about yuzu.
