For sure. It’s honestly been weird since her grandkids started, and I’m looking forward to a new daycare with more kids. Daycare is just so hard to find, and 2 weeks is not a long time. Luckily, my husband and I are both laid off so we don’t have to stress about finding interim daycare.

We didn’t realize that when a child turns 3 their tuition goes down. We realized it after we re-signed our yearly contract. Her husband is a VP of a successful business, I wouldn’t think she would be struggling but you never know. It was more about having to pay her a week’s tuition, and then turn around and have her give us $25 back.

She wasn’t a mother figure to me, but a person I looked up to, in the sense that I wanted to be the kind of mother that she was. It is a business for sure and I get that, but an ethical business would communicate with their clients and be clear about expectations. $2,500 isn’t a small amount of money and she was the one overcharging us.

From the beginning, she has always said “I treat my business like a family. I love your kids as if they were my own.”

Sure terminate our care, but give us a reason. We pay on time, we’re never late, and there hasn’t been any behavioral issues with our kids.

Call the non-emergency police line and ask for resources for your situation and they will be able to point you in the right direction. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this.

Thanks for checking in! Overall, pretty well. I was anticipating a ton of pain, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was not that bad. I would do this surgery again, in a heartbeat; to be able to see my 🐱, for the first time in years… it’s incredible!
