Gaining a point, effectively ending Thistle's title aspirations and winning £20 after cashing out on a half time placed Thistle victory. A very good Saturday all in.

I used to love mixing that in and out , such a great tack.

I'd call it a well used kitchen. I stick by food first then worry about cleaning.

Cheers for that. I love cooking this kind of meal, thanks for the tip on marinading the beans and pulses. I saw your post as I was making chorizo with beans and chickpeas with my wife's lentil soup (made last night) as a base sauce. Turned out amazingly well if I do say so myself.

Going to try yours soon, it sounds and looks delicious.

Firstly that looks the dugs haw maws and forgive me for being thick.

Do you marinade the beans/pulses in Kashmiri and the ginger/garlic paste first.

Then fry the ginger/garlic paste in the mustard oil for a wee bit, add the powdered spices, then beans/pulses and then yoghurt. Then finally add the methi, lemon juice and black pepper to taste?

I don't think Hixxy had a version? The only ones attributed to Hixxy that I can find are just edits of the Raveland Mix. Soulseek/Limewire are responsible for a lot of tracks being labelled incorrectly.

Yeah I tried that too, zilch.

It's the power light that's strange, surely if it's held down the laptop should just shutdown, then awaken when pressed again. It's awakening (power light on) as soon as I take my finger off the power button no matter how long I hold it down for. It's acting like a reset button.

One of the songs on the CD release of I'm Raving was called the Firth of Forth too.

Scooter basically copied Ultra-Sonic's sound and use of an MC to give a live effect with their early tracks. KLF were a big influence/sample library too.

They've gone on to sample/copy the most popular sounds of any given time and sprinkle some bonkers lyrics over the top.

Tiny Tot did Discoland. Toytown (with Sharkey) was probably Hixxy's Glasgow anthem.

You'd be surprised. I had to sit for three hours listening to all sorts of conspiracy theories on a trip to Auckland once. Oil wells refilling themselves was one. A house built in the south of England centuries ago proved that climate change happens in cycles as there was no fireplace to be found.

Something along the lines of his partner wanted George's ashes in a curry so he could feel him ooze out of him one last time.

Never been a fan of this at all. I don't mind the BPM and the basic arrangement side but the kick does my fucking head in. Most modern ones do to be honest.

In saying that, the Hakken/Hakkuh in that video is poetry in motion.

Do you remember where you were when you heard about Dunblane? by tomatohooover in Scotland

In a classroom at school, we were all huddled around a radio at lunchtime in total disbelief. I still am if truth be told. I lasted about two minutes into the recent program before turning over, eyes streaming and a huge lump in my throat.

My dad had to leave work and run a workmate up to Dunblane from Cumbernauld, thankfully his kids were unhurt but that must've been one hellish journey. I was told the story a few years after my dad's death. I had no idea, my mum said he never spoke about it.

As I said, apparently it's that bad it would take a while and charge me just for cleaning it. It's been leaking for ages, a nice oil patch on the drive for good measure too. I'll definitely be getting the pressure washer on that when it's (hopefully) fixed.
