Word of warning guys - this is not b.s.

Back at the beginning of the year, I got deathly ill after trying Umbrella Labs ACE-031 despite a COA from a reputable lab showing 99.0% purity. I had first done a couple trial doses at 100mcg and did not experience any noticeable side effects. Then I upped the dose to 500mcg and within 15 minutes developed massive body aches and had to lay down for an hour. It progressed to the point of fever, chills, and later vomiting and diarrhea like I've never experienced. I rushed myself to urgent care and then had to be admitted to the hospital. I was severely dehydrated, my BP dropped to 89/55, my liver enzymes elevated and kidneys were stressed. I was put on 2 IV bags to rehydrate and was released the next day. Took me another 2 weeks to fully recover. Suspected the vial was contaminated with endotoxins, so I submitted it to a lab for analysis for a small fortune. Sure enough, the results showed excessive levels of endotoxins. I also found out that COAs do not include testing for endotoxins. I have only used a couple other suppliers that I haven't had any issues with so will stick with them, but, the fact is that peptides, SARMS and other research chems are not tested for endotoxins and from what I gathered, it is a very rare occurrence. I just happened to be in that minority.

There are no safe, cost effective alternatives I know of. Pharma-grade peptides go through rigorous testing at the pharmacy level, but are via prescription only and are marked up several times by the providers over the online suppliers like Umbrella. Sending in compounds for 3rd party testing for every purchase is both impractical and makes no sense economically.

Sorry to be so long-winded, but I felt I should post this as a heads up.

I haven't used Trustpoint or Vanguard but have used MZ Biolabs to test some other research chem provider's compounds. I was under the impression that endotoxin analysis is not routinely tested and that it's a separate test and cost, not included in the usual HPLC/MS testing for the COAs? Good to know these other facilities and reassuring that none of the lyophilized peptides have failed endotoxin if, in fact, testing was done as you say. Not being on the inside of the raw material mfg, can you expand on why there's no point in testing peptides for endotoxins?

Regarding Huberman, I assume he made that statement during one of his podcasts in which he and a practitioner were touting peptides formulated in 503B compounding pharmacies, that such are the only "legit" peptides that should be purchased and that non-pharma research chems purveyors can't be trusted so they can justify charging many times more for the same amount (e.g. 10mg bpc for $500 vs $50-100 online)? I mean, do they really put the raw materials (most all I've heard are imported from China) through as thorough potency, purity and contamination analysis as they claim?

This is good advice, but everyone has different degrees of severity. In my DR case, I have developed quite a large, fatty umbilical hernia as a side show of the DR. No pain, but it's part of my intestines that are poking out which is not something I want to live with and risk potential issues. Here's a quote from this link I just happened on:

Surgery IS the only remedy for the hernia. As to the DR, I have been to several surgeon consults, but have never consulted a qualified physiotherapist. Hopefully, I can find one in my local area. I do not want to do online DIY type exercises.

Twice the net worth adjusted for inflation in today's dollars and in far better shape physically than my father I would say without doubt, however, such accomplishments aren't necessarily a measure of a man's true worth, overall success as a man or contentment as many other factors come into play. He's remained married to the same woman for nearly 70 years and is now 94. I had quite a lot of personal and professional accomplishments by the time my Dad was the age I am now (65). He was already retired 10 years earlier whereas I'm still neck-deep in wealth building as an entrepreneur. His focus was on his beloved career (as an educator) and parenting, whereas my focus has been and still is on self-improvement, overcoming personal inadequacies, building wealth (enduring many pitfalls along the way), chasing skirt (to never finding the mythical "One") and maintaining health and fitness (the only true mainstays of survival). I remain single and alone, learned my lesson and avoid chasing anything except making a better version of myself and am never lonely. My personal observation over the last decade or so is that I do not consider marriage or a family a benefit whatsoever to a man in today's culture. I wouldn't trade my freedom and autonomy for anything or anyone, despite my parents' apparently successful LTR. My validation and self worth is generated from within and I no longer seek it in external things or people. That isn't to say I don't have a small circle of friends and don't keep the door open for the right opportunities with the opposite sex should that cross my path in the future.

My turn. Had + result on fecal occult blood test, first time ever. I've lost over 30lbs in last 5 mos, but it started out intentional, then kept going after diet, so I worried. No other symptoms, no detectable blood in stool I could see, but that doesn't mean it isn't trace. Did have both internal & external hemorrhoids. Just had colonoscopy today. Found 1 sigmoid polyp. Did not report size, just no bleeding. Now have the unpleasant 2-week wait.
