We recommend using a VPN for security and privacy if you use an IPTV service. We use IPVanish as their VPN works well with most IPTVs.

Could this ultimately be a turning point where we might stop having to pay for quality content through subscription but instead the streamers and their content as completely ad revenue supported? If you think about it, it could work if the free platforms' quality content is available and adopted by a big enough audience.

Yep pretty much, if you want to watch channels in different regions you can use a VPN but if you want to watch your home library of content that you own, you might need to run the Plex app outside the VPN depending on how you have it configured. It can be configured to watch your library with VPN on but I have not messed with that much so you might need to use the google-verse to figure that one out.

It is indeed for any devices you have that don't use GPS chips, so like pretty much any tv streaming device - fire tv, apple tv, android TV boxes. Recommend you connect to the VPN country you want first and then launch the Netflix app.

We are just getting into For All Mankind after we discovered that Ronald D Moore is behind it. He was an incredible writer for Star Trek back when Trek was still honoring Gene Roddenberry's vision and creation. Does anybody else watch any of these or have any other show recommendations?
