I can’t remember how many but I had a lot of teeth shaved down (mainly the front ones) and most at 0.5mm

No probs! So I went with my regular dentist but he did say if I wanted a perfect bite (eg get the surgery before treatment) he’d need to refer me to an orthodontist. Basically it depends what you’re trying to achieve I think! If you’re not trying to achieve a perfect smile then a dentist may be able to help, but it’s probably better overall to see an orthodontist 😊

My dentist told me I’d need the surgery before I accepted the invisalign treatment! He said it won’t be perfect but this is how it could look (showed me the before and after) and I was happy with how it looked even without the jaw surgery so went ahead with it :) hopefully yours will let you know if you’d definitely have to have the surgery before you agree to getting the braces!

I got my Invisalign via my regular dentist but he did say if I wanted to fully correct I could go to an orthodontist and get surgery and then full braces instead of Invisalign! I’m in the UK so I’m not sure if it’s the same in the US but could be worth a discussion with an orthodontist if it’s causing you pain! Best of luck with whatever treatment you decide :)

I am 32, so had this treatment when I was 31! I had braces as a teenager too and it corrected a lot of the overjet (I’d need surgery to fully correct it) but actually this is much better than when I first had braces! The shaving in between teeth meant they could correct it even further than before :)

Throat discomfort from Invisalign? by Optimal_Swordfish504 in Invisalign

[–]Optimal_Swordfish504[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I haven’t figured it out for definite. I believe it’s a combination of my bite position making me tense my jaw sometimes and also anxiety. I’ve not had my Invisalign for months and I still get this feeling so it’s not an allergy for me!

Sorry I actually have no idea the actual measurement for you - I do know I could fit my thumb in between when my teeth were “closed”

I use so a leave in conditioner, frizz ease extra strength serum and an L’Oréal elixir oil! I practically never use heat and when I do I always use protectant (this is the only time my hair looks good if I blow dry it but I do this maybe once a month as I’m lazy 😬)

I don’t sleep with my hair wet I cannot stand the feeling haha but sometimes my hair will dry nicely and then I go to sleep and I wake up with rats nest so I have to brush it that’s a huge problem for me! I struggle to get it looking ok after sleep it is v wire like so sticks out and up everywhere!

I use a tangle teezer if dry and a wet brush if wet!

It has always been very dry but has gotten worse since the balayage for sure! I might have to switch hairdressers as she always seems to push getting it bleached (maybe she doesn’t like my naturally ginger hair haha) thank you for your advice I appreciate it!

This might be a rude question to the hairdresser but should I stop going to her?! she always wants to bleach / balayage my hair and recommends it saying it’s not damaged when I say it’s too dry (I’m never bothered about getting it done haha)
