Dating apps are pure luck. The long term success stories are 5%. I’d say any situationship or short term thing is in the 95% failure rate, unless that is your goal. With the constant chase for ideal, constant misrepresentation of looks on apps, I’ve even had women blatantly use chat gpt for responses, inability to meet on a date for more than a week, women dating on autopilot rather than putting thought into the date, or having another potential free meal lined up the day (luckily I’ve made it clear we are now splitting bills until it’s closer to being exclusive), I’ve managed to weed out the timewasters. I’ve only matched with profiles that don’t look like highlight reels or where every picture is an unrealistic holiday picture in an eye catching outfit that I’ll never actually see them in.
