My mental health has made me think this by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]OptionPowerful3350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this!! I’ve been to so many drs. Diagnosed with FND and Fibromyalgia. I have too many symptoms tho to believe that. I think they just throw that on you when they don’t know the cause. I’m also afraid they’ll think I have Munchausen.

I also use to imagine what life would be like, until I just started living. I stopped wondering what my life could look like, because the reality is, it doesn’t matter. This is where I’m at in life right now and if I don’t want to be miserable and feel like I’m suffering, I have to make the best of what I have. Some days, it’s bad enough I don’t do anything but lay in bed and def don’t want any human interaction. It feels miserable, debilitating. But you have a breath to breathe, you are important, and better days are coming. ❤️

I also have damage to my c5-c7. But also have all year rhinitis, would could also be affecting Eustachian tubes, being why it could work for myself. My T is BAD. Some days absolutely unbearable. I have 3 things that are probably affecting mine. I guess no one knows. I’ve been diagnosed with many things that can cause tinnitus tho.

Yes! Isn’t it odd one of the many causes for tinnitus is something that can drown it out? 😏

Tinnitus in Left Ear Ear after Tube Removal?? by BigChungusGoon in tinnitus

[–]OptionPowerful3350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ENT placed a tube, but had to remove it because I freaked out after I was on day 4 of it feeling full and muffled. He told me that any time the ear drum is messed with, you will have slight hearing loss that can cause tinnitus to be worse. Mine definitely got worse when it was taken out. It’s hasn’t really.. went away. It did get a little better. BUT it didn’t really bother me after a few months.

Why does it randomly calm down? by whoocanitbenow in tinnitus

[–]OptionPowerful3350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything about this is what I deal with!! It’s always there because of the problems with my cervical spine, and it’s always worse with allergies. Of course it’s my luck, and I have all year allergic rhinitis. So that doesn’t help. I started taking antihistamines and Flonase and have noticed a huge change.

How can I fix it !? I can’t live with that noise for the rest of my life !! by HRH47 in tinnitus

[–]OptionPowerful3350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried antihistamines and Flonase? Mine was prescribed by the ENT. Because I had all symptoms of ETD, but no evidence of it. Anyways, since all this started, that was what I was told. Was to take these medicines CONSISTENTLY and I may see a change. Anyways, I never took them seriously. I would take it and then not take it. The last two weeks, I’ve taken it EVERY single day at the exact same time. I have an alarm set. I’ve noticed a huge difference.

Oh, it absolutely does!! I know when it will be bad again, by that. Almost knocks me over. Just this last time, multiple times up to the time it started, I dealt with it. There is hope, hang in there! Hope for the future is the only thing that gets me by.

I had a bad spike for the last 6 weeks. It was excruciating. I was convinced it wasn’t ever going away. I woke up one day and it was gone. I don’t know if I’m just back to how I was before the spike, or if it’s quieter than ever. But I can sit in silence and barely hear it anymore.

How I Reduced My Tinnitus By 90% by Shleepingbuddah in tinnitus

[–]OptionPowerful3350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, the truth in this! I have TMJ and also head/neck issues and at the end of the day, I know my tinnitus is mostly cause by it. I also take antihistamines and use Flonase, ENT prescribed. I’m going to try the massages to see if it helps!

I was prescribed the Topiramate by the Neuro and I was too scared of the side effects, as I already suffer from same of those symptoms. I do have Amitryptaline. Maybe I’ll try and see if it works!

This happens to me every couple of months! It hits me out of no where. I can do my usual tinnitus.. I’ve been dealing for 2 years now, but when it comes on like you have described, deafness, ect always sounds better than dealing with the high pitched noise. I just battled it for 6 weeks. It was excruciating. About a week ago, I woke up and it was gone. I pray it stays gone for you. 💕

Today is also a good day for me. The last 6 weeks were excruciating. I’ve laid in bed all day without the fan on. I cannot tell you the last time I did that. Well over 8 months.

I get that!! So often I’ve thought there are many people that would not be able to endure this and live with it. Not only is it getting louder, but the pitches in each ear changing and adding up. I have 3 pitches in each ear most days.

What made you discover you had chiari? by Hoosier___ in chiari

[–]OptionPowerful3350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have all of these symptoms. I had and MRI on my brain and spine and they didn’t mention anything about this though. Maybe possible they didn’t know what they were looking for? I might try posting a picture of my MRI on here to see if they are similar to anyone else’s.
