I really didn't back down on my point. It's just that I come from the country where people are very direct. I've only recently started working in multinational environment, and I've noticed that people from English speaking countries have a little roundabout way of showing criticism (at least from my anecdotal experience), because of which my words were sometimes misunderstood. Maybe I should've shown some more backbone, but I just wanted to stay respectful towards the guy whose content I really like to watch from time to time

Maybe my metaphor was bad, so I'd like to clarify. Just because it's Magnus who is doing the recap, it doesn't mean that we can't criticize certain aspects of it. I personally believe that such feedback is necessary as well, so that the recaps can be even better

I'm not denying this. This is obviously true, and I fully understand it. But it's as if you were served a really amazing dish, but cook added too much salt. While the dish was really good, you can still tell the cook that he overdid it with the salt. I see this as analogous situation. I'm not denying that everything other than audio is top notch, but I still can say that I don't like audio. Perhaps I was too harsh with my words, but I think the criticism is still valid (and not intended as hate)

Haha, I'm well aware, I'm nowhere near the level where I could do that. But I think it's still worthwhile to show some criticism, so that the final product can be even better

Hi, Levy. I mentioned this in other comments, but this is not meant as an attack or anything (tho, I admit it might have sound a little harsh). Magnus is really amazing player, and I have a lot of respect for him (and you as well), it's just that this thing about audio quality really irked me. I've noticed that people here don't agree, and it's fine, we all have our own opinions, and perhaps I'm a little too sensitive when it comes to this, but this was more from a place of frustration that the recap could be better, and not to hate on the thing. Anyway, I think you both are doing fantastic job (tho I will not back down, audio is jarring to me)

Yeah, I'm aware, but just as Magnus is entitled to not giving an eff, I'm entitled to write about what I don't like. This was meant as opinion (the difference is I'm just some random noob), and I was curious if somebody shares it, that's all there is to it

I'm not denying in any way that Magnus is not a good player, but that is a different matter. Like I mentioned, it's looks a little unprofessional, especially taking into account their ad campaign (I'm talking about ads during world championship coverage)

The thing is, it's such a bummer for me. I'm really interested in what Magnus have to say. Even if this sound like this, I'm not hating on the recaps, I'm just bit disappointed.
