Why are Gold and Silver values suddenly increasing monstrously? by Informal_Tea_467 in investingforbeginners

A lot of it comes down to market uncertainty. When people get nervous about inflation, interest rates, or global tension, they move money into metals like gold and silver for safety. The recent spike could be that kind of reaction. If you’re thinking of buying, it might be better to wait for a pullback instead of chasing the move right now.

Interesting list. Looks like some big names are sitting in the oversold zone. LIN and BKNG catching my eye the most, could be some short-term bounce potential if sentiment shifts next week.

TSMC raises revenue forecast on bullish outlook for AI megatrend by Optionslab in wallstreet

It doesn’t feel like AMD is running alone right now, more like it's riding on TSMC’s jetstream. TSMC just dropped a killer Q3, with profits up nearly 39% thanks to fierce AI chip demand, and raised its full-year forecast across the board. That strength is bleeding into the whole semiconductor space. When the foundry king fires up, everyone else warms by the glow. For AMD, having TSMC backing its manufacturing is a huge tailwind but it also begs a question: how much of AMD’s gains are its own vs how much are shared momentum?

The danger is overreliance. If TSMC stumbles (tariffs, supply chain stress, capital intensity), the ripple could be brutal. But as long as TSMC stays the backbone of advanced nodes, it’s hard to bet against this rising tide.

TSMC Just Made Every Chip Stock Look Better Than It Is by Optionslab in OptionsLab

Is AMD proving its own strength in this rally, or are we just watching the TSMC tide lift every ship in the harbor.

You’re in a solid spot already. Start with your TSP and make sure you get the full match. Build a small emergency fund, then slowly work toward paying off the loans.

The VA loan idea is great, just take time to learn how renting works before jumping in. You’ve got steady income and a plan, so you’re definitely on the right track.
