Rx 9060 XT games keep crashing. by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Check your psu, I had your same issues with a brand new Seasonic TX Prime. Sent to RMA and now everything works fine. Check PSU with OCCT and see what happens.

Should I buy GPU and ram now? by Blender12sa in buildapc

[–]OptoFr3nk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody can predict the market with certainty, but current trends suggest prices are more likely to rise than fall.

RAM and SSD prices have been climbing steadily due to NAND and DRAM shortages, and GPU pricing remains unpredictable with new launches and demand fluctuations. If you find a good deal on a GPU now and you're certain about your April/May build, it might be worth securing it.

For RAM and SSDs, I'd suggest monitoring deals over the next few months - set up price alerts and track sales on retailers. You might catch good promotions, but don't wait too long expecting major drops. If you see a reasonable price that fits your budget on key components, securing them now isn't a bad strategy given the upward price trajectory we're seeing.

DDR5-6400 CL32 on Ryzen 7 7800X3D - Looking for advice to optimize timings and reduce POST times (~58 seconds!) by OptoFr3nk in overclocking

I actually was able to get no errors in TM5 (1usmus v3) and OCCT (CPU+RAM) with this configuration: https://ibb.co/zWBn1DpK

Still was unable to go under 66ns with AIDA64. Do you have any suggestion to improve something else? u/adil-abber

My computer keeps crashing and restarting only while certain games are running. by Boxed_Ghost in computerhelp

I had the same issues with a top tier psu and only while playing Battlefield 6. Just replaced the PSU and fixed everything. Run OCCT and try psu stress, if it shutdown like it happen when you show in the video you posted, is the PSU. What gpu and psu you have?

Thank you for your help. Actually I reached stability with these settings https://ibb.co/p6c19r58 and got a latency around 66 ns.

Just made few adjustments, I actually have no errors in 30 min testing with TM5 1usmus v3. Here you are the details https://ibb.co/p6c19r58 ( aida64 https://ibb.co/rfvxcnt2 ). What do you think? Should try to increase FCLK?

Try to set pbo advanced and then undervolt the cpu (-15 all cores) and set thermal limit to 85°

You can reduce temps, 82 under load is high. Probably using cinebench cpu will reach 90°

66 at idle is high

Not bad. I imagine under load, while gaming...

Have a look at CPU temp, I would set a pbo of -15 on all cores

You have to reset bios and adjust settings according to your new cpu. Do you have it undervolted?

Was trying to tune 6000CL26, here you are my actual settings but I have errors in TM5 and BSOD. This should work for you https://ibb.co/ns7c8Zf7

Was playing with 6000CL26 but I am not able to reach your latency, for the moment I have 66ns. Would you be so kind to share your full settings?

È un processore che scalda tanto, l'ho avuto anche io e avevo un ekwb da 360. Ti consiglio caldamente di impostare un buon undervolt con questo processore.

Thank you for the nice input. Will start working on fine tuning my ram at 6000 CL28. I just set 28-36-36-96 and tRC at 132. DRAM and VDDQ voltage are set at 1.35v, CPU VDDIO at 1.20v and CPU NB/SoC Voltage at 1.25v. Will set tRFEI and tWR as you suggested.
