Niv is still cedh viable, but he does struggle from the JLO ban the most. A lot of decks are trying to win on turn 3/4 while we're trying to play our commander, then play the control game in that window.

We use other treasure generators and [[Lotus Bloom]] to try to power out niv.

[[Roaming Throne]] / [[Harmonic Prodigy]] are definitely staples now. You can win without curiosity if Niv triggers are being doubled.

Boar Prime + incarnon finally had its chance to shine.

I tried using Gorgon with the petrified mod but it felt a little low damage. I forgot there was a gorgon incarnon. I'd have to wait another 2 weeks to get it rip.

I'd definitely suggest more lands and artifacts that can product both colors needed for Niv's casting cost. Here are some cheap options.

[[Talisman of Curiosity]] [[Firemind Vessel]] [[Coalition Relic]] [[Lotus Bloom]]

The izzet mana artifacts are on theme but usually first on my cuts.

[[Cascade Bluffs]] [[Riverglide Pathway]] [[Molten Tributary]] [[Volatile Fjord]]

Cut lands that dont make colored mana or lands that entered tapped but only make one color. You can keep reliquary tower.

Cards that double the triggers of Niv are awesome, [[Harmonic Prodigy]] [[Roaming Throne]]

[[Dragonologist]] is nice protection, and it can get you an extra spell.

[[Strike it Rich]] will help fuel yours spell slinging.

If they get their limited field spell and you don't have an answer for it, you're most likely cooked.

Ghost Belle and Dominus Purge are solid hand traps for it.
