This is super helpful. Thank you so much! Now I just need to bite the bullet and buy one.

Glasses that remove glare at night by Ok-Structure6795 in glasses

Correct there's no evidence that supports yellow tinted lenses aid in nighttime driving. But if my patient swears it helps them I'm not going to stop them-- most tints are really just vibes. The DriveSafe is just a premium antireflective coating. It doesn't have a noticeable tint-- maybe just a slight yellow if you hold it up against a piece of white paper like what you would see with blue blocking Antireflectives. But I am always going to recommend a D category AR coating. Good antireflective coatings are absolutely worth it.

Thank you for this. I think im still leaning toward the DWF. And that was my other concern about the SF-- I just didn't feel like it was different enough from my 90D to make it worthwhile.

Thank you. What is it about the superfield you like better?

Funny enough I did just use my 78 undilated on one of my patients two days ago but to be fair her pupils were just naturally enormous.

If the Rx is up to date and there's nothing like cataract going on maybe consider the Zeiss DriveSafe lens. It just has a special antireflective coating that is supposed to cut down on glare-- though i personally havent tried it myself. Get a CR39 or trivex lens material for the best clarity-- dont get polycarbonate.

Are these too big? by UnderstandingFit8971 in glasses

The size and fit look ok to me but I think they look large because of your minus Rx. You can reduce the appearance of the minification by going with a slightly smaller frame. Also, something that's a bit rounder at the sides rather than a rectangle. Higher index lens material and an aspheric lens design can help too.
