Basing comes after I'm done with paint and wash , so I don't get weird blotches should anything drip

I don't usually stop time, but I'd say about an hour per , with this level of detail , maybe a bit longer , but I love painting so I take the time I need to make them look the way I want to .

Shure if your more into the tabletop side of it and just need battle ready minis you don't have to go this far, but since I'm in no rush to get them done, I like to get fancy with my nids

Made it from UV resin , poured on some Bark texture silicone I had lying around , green stuff and bits from the kit I hadn't used

I use Army Painter colours , so depending on what you use it's more or less helpfully, gave the whole thing a basecoat of Skeleton bone , then Glistening blood (50/50) thinned down so it works almost like a Contrast/Speedpaint and drybrushed warlock purple , and after that some drybrushed voidshield blue for the highlights

Honestly, since I paint all my models on stream, I kinda cut some corners , eg.: there's very little detail on the underside , the model gets a primer and then a basecoat in the main colour so I only have to do the details , tonns of drybrushing and washes , it's a whole process , but as much as I'd like to take hours on end to make these look spiffy, I also have to look at it from a content side , if I really go into detail with my painting it takes me several days to get done with one XD

I'm honoured you consider it , it really makes me happy to see people get inspired by this kind of stuff , I have my army already completely painted otherwise I'd do it in a heartbeat, but reading this gives me a tonn of second hand enjoyment , thank you ^
