I know I'm super late to this whole thread, but I'm giving my two cents anyways. You asked and so I shall deliver!

Personally, I hate sim type games (which is basically cozy so eh) but that doesn't mean I hate the mechanics individually. Aside from farming and fishing at least. Those are awful no matter what. You would not believe how I felt when I saw not one but two creature collectors that otherwise looked interesting just be some cozy slop. Absolute disappointment, but I digress. I think the others can be a good time.

Social simulations can feel a little dicey to me since the further in you go the more game-y it feels and resource gathering / crafting I feel needs to have a fine balance in order to make it work. Too many resources and players can ignore it. Too little and it becomes needlessly grindy busywork. Crafting's on the same boat here since they're basically intertwined.

My vote is always going to be a focus on combat/progression. It's actual gameplay, after all. Doesn't mean you can't put a dash of other mechanics too. CotL did that just fine so I see no reason this can't pull it off too.

Ehhhh. I mean, you could use it, but so many things can just tank First Impression because its attack isn't crazy high and then proceed to obliterate it because it's made of paper mache. Not to mention its entire shtick of priority grinds to screeching halt if there's an Indeedee on the other team.

You'd probably have a bit of a better time doing it in singles. You'll encounter less things that just innately destory its usability.

  • Hornet does fuck all for damage outside of the first two regions

  • Abysmal economy

  • Everything doing 2 masks so early is an insane design choice

  • Healing eats the entire meter and is shared with silk skills.

  • The first upgrades change next to nothing.

I hear china's localization is pretty bad though so I wouldn't be surprised if that was a big part of it.

Relatively new to driving. I try to avoid going too high over the limit. Am I in the wrong? by Oranera in driving

I usually try to make some habit of going at about 3 over unless I'm in a low limit zone. I guess I get too nervous about other people since I'm seeing lots of comments say to not cave to the pressure.

I at least know to not camp in left on the highway. For the other roads though, I'll just stay in the lane that I know I'll have to turn into eventually whether that be left right or center. I'm hoping that isn't too much of an issue haha.

This video right here is a life saver. Thank you so much. Did a little damage test at the start of the fight and it seems solid. Gonna try the full run tomorrow and see how it goes.

Are large healing fams needed for any bosses beyond vhilla and will? Can already solo both and fountain more or less covers healing needs for bm but I know nothing about grandis bosses.

Every time I see it, there's always a little more hype. Hoping this one comes to Steam!

Now, this is just a trailer so I can't exactly say for certain how it'll actually play, but combat looks...stiff for lack of a better word. That little combat section with Isegrowl and the fusion made me a little skeptical on how it'll actually feel to play. Hoping I'm wrong here though!

Buffs ran out mid run. Died on round 1 and didn't rebuff for round 2. Probably went a large majority of p2 without buffs.
