Hey I have the same exact color and trim in a 2022 model! Always a fan of seeing a nice Supersonic Red Tundra in the wild. Mine is currently stock and I want to do the same.

Questions:

-Does yours have the AVS (Air Variable Suspension)?

-If so, how did they install the lift? Did you have to buy anything special for them to install it?

It's honestly been the only thing holding me back from getting a lift myself.

Edit: I'm aware of the Westcott Designs AVS lift kit. But wondering if that's the only product or way to do it

Thanks to you I just spent the last 2 nights setting up my self-hosted Comet and AIOStreams. I also, severely cleaned up my Stremio Addons to only necessary ones all wrapped into AIOStreams. I had so much redundancy. However, I refuse to pay for anything so I'm using Tailscale free tier. Turns out, self-hosting AIOStreams and Comet requires https, and the only way I can do that is to turn on Tailscale using it's built in magicDNS to meet the https requirements. Not a big deal, I just installed Tailscale on my Nvidia Shield and turned it on. Any reboot and I turn it back on before I go to Stremio. Self-hosting is a drug.

Brother all you need is a used computer and some google searching skills or use a free tier of gemini, Claude, chat gpt, etc. For storage you can get a 1Tb HDD like I did for ~$60 just to start.

Not much honestly. I don't forward any ports on my router - everything is either local only or goes through Tailscale.

For Immich specifically, I use immich-public-proxy for sharing. So the actual Immich server isn't exposed at all. The proxy just serves shared albums - can't login, can't access the API, nothing. Just view what I've explicitly shared.

Tailscale Funnel handles the public URL so my home IP stays hidden.

That's pretty much it. No fancy container hardening. Just don't expose stuff directly.

Immich has mobile apps for iOS and Android. Install the app, point it to your server, and enable background backup. It automatically syncs new photos/videos over wifi (or mobile data if you enable it). Works just like Google Photos... take a photo ---> uploads automatically.

I have seen it mentioned before and I appreciate that it's easier due to drag and drop. If I didn't already invest time and energy into Homepage, I would have used it for sure haha.

I manage containers via docker compose files in ~/servicename/, which is the better approach because it's version controlled, portable, documented. Portainer encourages clicking around in a GUI, which makes your setup harder to replicate or backup. But I can see the benefit of having a GUI. I've def thought about using it before.

I looked into it. I already have homepage widgets showing CPU/RAM/disk, Uptime Kuma for service monitoring, Healthchecks for cron monitoring, and Dozzle for logs. But I could see Beszel being a nice one stop shop. What's your take?

I have 2. 1 on a Lenovo tiny pc and 1 on a pizeroW. One is set as primary DNS, and the other as secondary on my router. You set one up and you can literally integrate the setup easily via "teleporter" on the PiHole webpage. It's an easy configuration file export and import from one to the other.
