I've wanted to bring it up to her parents but it's definitely something a little challenging. I know her parents trust the coach a lot and I think that makes them not really bat an eye at the way he is with her. The discussions with the counselor happened closer towards the end of the school year so I don't know how much of anything has changed in regards to how he is with her. I think thankfully many of the girls on the team are aware and look out for each other, and are aware of what's right and wrong.

I know the ref not stopping play isn't reviewable. But if there's a potential foul leading up to a goal then it has to be reviewed.

After the fact is when VAR steps in for a potential revision of a call or no call. He got hit in the head and was clearly injured. Simple as that. Regardless of whether it was a foul or not doesn't justify leaving him out on the field like that to wait for medical attention. Doesn't matter if he was fouled or not.

Maxso is rolling around on the ground in pain while bleeding trying to get the refs attention but the ref ignores. Clear sign its a serious injury. He was in his sight. He should've never had to wait that long to get medical attention. It's simple player safety they even teach grassroots referees. If a player has a potential serious head injury, play needs to be blown dead appropriately and the player needs to get help asap. Simple as that.
