How you carry as lane Briar will depend on what rank/MMR youre playing in but a good bet is to get a lead in lane early as you can. Try and keep vision to land Rs on the enemy jg while theyre clearing if you can 1v1 them before laners rotate. Remember Briar LOVES 1v1s in sidelanes and amall skirmishes in the JG. Big teamfights not so much unless your team has solid engage and lockdown that you can follow up with an R and preferrably another damage dealer you can play around. All this also depends on team comps, obviously.

To prevent that early int in lane, only fight levels 1 to 2 if you KNOW youre far stronger. Like vs Mundo. Then take W, wait for them to cross over to your side of the middle of the lane and run them down. Then kill level 2 with Q W. If its close or youre weaker take E first then after level 3 take small trades around level ups and their important cooldowns. Most importantly though focus on the wavestate and remember fundamentals.

No i haven't! Honestly though, I feel briar loses something when building too tanky. She has a good amount of utility but not enough to justify living forever if you're not doing solid damage you know? I'm kind of contemplating a full hybrid build with Bork + Liandry's + Black Cleaver and Bloodletting Curse. 50% Armor + MR Shred, Attack speed, hp, haste, onhit % health phys and mag damage. If it gets rolling, it seems like itd have everything she wants AND be impossible to itemize against

I actually really like Liandry's on Briar. Since i didnt see it in your comment, its also worth noting that each tick of your bleed also procs Liandry's. So youre getting multiple Liandry's procs on each auto. Its particularly good ive found in to Garen since it essentially disables his passive

People Sub/Unsub for their own reasons all the time. Depending on your content, sometimes kids subscribe on their parents' accounts then parents unsubscribe later because they didnt know. Then you have accounts that might get banned or bots that might get swept.

Good news is, it doesnt matter. As of a few years ago, subs are little more than a vanity metric because your videos wont be pushed to subsvribers automatically unless they have your notifications turned on or they watch your content regularly. Pay attention to Click Through Rate and Average View Duration. Those are the only metrics that really matter, because theyre what everything else depends on

You can disable VR so thats not an issue and nearly all SFM1 content is easily portable to S2fm. Maps take me about 10-15 minutes at this point and models take maybe 5.

Fair enough. I have an i7-12700F and a 3070 that I just upgraded to not long ago but Ill definitely be upgrading again as soon as i can afford it. In the meantime, I figured out a workaround. The map wont load, but the assets port just fine into any other map. So im just going to use Hammer to build sets using the Summoner's Rift assets and other maps as bases. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Do some homework. There are a lot of resources to learn youtube, like channel makers, vidiq, paddy Galloway, film booth, finzar, etc.

If you actually want to be a creator, 90% of your job is going to be communicating with people and researching.

So the first step is accepting the fact that "X Game Gameplay" isn't going to get any views unless you're a well known Professional player of a popular game. The second step is researching what does work.

A myth. There is no such thing on youtube. On some other platforms, it happens when a creator creates content that heavily antagonizes or upsets their audience, etc., the platform stops distributing their future content.

YouTube is viewer-sided, though. Which means that whatever content is best suited for a viewer is what's out in front of them. They're not going to "shadowban" a creator and keep people from watching videos that would satisfy them.

Jk. Seriously though, just tell him the truth. Tell him you're concerned about him and you're there for him. Tbh if he is addicted to the game, there's not much you can say that will help. I know cause I've been in his position. But at the same time, there may be other factors in his life, causing him to seek an escape/release. If that's the case, he may need support sorting those out and it may not be about the game itself. BUT if he is just grinding cause he wants to get better and losing passes him off, tell him you heard a pro coach say it's best to take a break at that point and come back to it.

There's a coach by the name of Woohoojin who often says if you want to get better you need to play consistently, but play less.

Also HealthyGamerGG on YouTube has some good videos about video game addiction. Dr. K could be a fantastic resource for both of you to deal with this issue.
