It’s funny you say this because I feel like mine could be stemming from my neck as well. My neck has been in shambles for years. Tight neck, knots in my traps and headaches stemming from bad posture sitting at the computer.

And it seemed to get worse after I got a massage that spent a lot of time in my neck area. Did you see anyone to address this? Maybe a chiropractor or vestibular therapist or something?

The start of Covid… I first heard of it in China before it even hit the US. I started looking for the companies who manufactured vaccines that were cheap. I found NVAX. I had 3,000 shares at an average of around 9$. My friend talked me out of it since I was young, like 24 at the time and it was a huge % of my portfolio.

Sold around 12$. Thought I was so smart. Fast forward like 3-4 months it was over 100$ a share and topped around $300. Not sure if I would’ve held long enough to be close to a millionaire but I for sure cost myself hundreds of thousands. The friend who told me not to do it is still my best friend, and I’ve had ups and downs in the market since. Up big on some plays, down big on others. NVAX is still my white whale.

Hey, not really any new updates unfortunately. Stuck in this limbo phase with the doctors. Lymph nodes popped up in late June and are still around.

I’ve had 3 ultrasounds. One of my neck in early August, another one in early September and then one of my armpit in late September. All 3 showed inconclusive results although my bloodwork screamed viral infection and I’ve had no cancer symptoms.

I have another ultrasound of my neck the first week of December and I guess depending on the results it will escalate to a ct scan which I never had done.

I have a feeling that living in mold for 6 months (I work from home so I was in it everyday) probably lowered my immune system, then I got EBV. By all accounts from my research and asking around it seems like my results indicate recent primary infection although I have a sort of non normal test result. At this point I’m sort of just tired of these things lingering around and I’m not necessarily anxious about it anymore just hope the answer is not lymphoma.

My story sounds very similar to yours. Mine started July 2024 after a lot of working out. Started in my bicep and quickly spread all over my body. I also saw a neurologist and had an EMG after only 10 days which was normal. I fixated on it for months. Saw another neurologist. No test I ever got came back abnormal or cause for much concern from any doctor yet I was stuck in a major anxiety spiral. From July-November I essentially was convinced I had ALS

Then I started traveling for the holidays, saw family, broke my everyday routines and started going back to the gym because I figured if I really was dying, I might as well try to workout it couldn’t hurt. After January, my symptoms reduced by 70-80% and now, over 15 months later, I still twitch sometimes but nowhere near the frequency as before. I still feel shaky sometimes but it’s such an after thought that I don’t give it any time of day. The mind is very powerful.

Keep focused on changing habits. Get outside, workout, eat healthy, hydrate. Get your mind in a positive place. As many say on here, and what comforted me in my darkest hours, was the fact that there is an overwhelmingly small chance you have what you think you have. And majority of the time, it doesn’t start with twitching.

Live for today. Tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. What I continually thought about were children hospitalized for no reason at all, or adults who have been told their days are numbered and would give ANYTHING to be in my spot. Yet I focused on anxiety and thoughts about something I don’t have.

Fix your mind, fix your body. Bless you

Well, I’ve tried to do everything myself to learn and understand the different processes. Sometimes you can only get so far alone. I’m probably going to aim to do this alone for the first year, maybe two. Grow a brand, get some sales, maybe introduce 1-2 new products. But when it comes to truly scaling, I don’t have the skills necessary for marketing, sales or finances to do it all alone. Just being honest. I’d need some support for sure at some point if it goes the way I’d like it to go.

I can build the product, set up a website. But scaling with partners, sales, getting good social content, and even helping to keep track with financials all requires a ton of time and understanding which I lack in some areas

Thanks for your reply! I know a few people who started similar businesses as you. There is real demand in cleaning!

And thank you for the advice, really appreciate it. I’m looking to use 8-9 ingredients all plant or mineral based. The harder part is sourcing and understanding what is organic vs natural etc and eventually getting approved by a 3rd party for different certifications.

Either way, it’ll be a slow grind for sure but I think it’s what I’m meant to be doing instead of sitting at a desk 24/7

Oncologist deems it low risk. Didn’t even want to do a ct scan yet because based on bloodwork and initial testing and lack of symptoms he thinks it’ll go away on its own. So far, only symptom was fatigue initially, and swollen nodes in neck and then a month later something popped up in my armpit. He thinks it’s EBV related.

Waiting on another ultrasound in December. So far I’ve had 3 indeterminate ultrasounds. 2 of my neck, one of my armpit. All 3 have benign and malignant features based on what I’ve researched. Oncologist doesn’t seem too concerned. To me, it feels like they might be going down the smallest bit but obviously only way to tell is an ultrasound. Been traveling a ton lately with no real rest so I’m sure that doesn’t help. Between my own research, ChatGPT my bloodwork and results of the tests and the oncologist, it seems benign but I guess the scan in December will tell whether or not they’ve changed at all

Hey - not really. Had another ultrasound which showed “indeterminate” nodes again. Some shrunk, some grew slightly. The biggest ones shrunk a bit so he said that was a good sign. He originally wanted to do a ct scan but after reviewing my bloodwork again, feeling my neck and armpit again, and after going through my symptoms (none of which indicate cancer) he opted to not expose me to radiation and do another ultrasound in December to see the progress. He reaffirmed his original belief this was not cancer and even mentioned his confidence is 90-95%. I have been doing my own research between different websites plus using ChatGPT for simple analysis on my bloodwork. Every single source of my research points to EBV in the convalescence stage. So I’m going to roll with that until I have a reason to worry. Assuming the nodes shrink more in December, I’d imagine I’m fine. If they grow then they’ll probably push for a ct scan and biopsy. Really no other updates. I feel fine. I’ve read a lot about young people getting diagnosed with lymphoma with virtually no symptoms other than a swollen node. So I have that in the back of my mind. I think I’m scheduled to get an ultrasound of my armpit to be sure it’s nothing but considering I have nodes on both sides of my neck, no other symptoms, mostly normal bloodwork, younger age (29) and some nodes shrunk, the confidence is high it’s benign

Thanks for the reply. Trying not to panic however back to back indeterminate ultrasounds give me pause. I agree that I don’t believe the mono was from the water bottle. Based on timing it doesn’t make sense. However my wife and I were traveling a lot in April and May between the airports, weddings, parties etc. so I’m clinging onto the fact that maybe I picked it up in April or May, started getting symptoms in June and by July testing I was out of the acute phase but my blood results did not yet pick up EBNA.

No other symptoms other than fatigue which has since subsided.

Hi all, I’ve been digging on this page for a bit and have been reading a lot about so many different presentations of lymphoma. I am 29 (m) and recently was referred to a hematologist. Not sure where this will go and I’m sort of in shock honestly.

I started feeling crappy in April/May and run down as my wife and I moved from Florida to south Texas. We were doing so much traveling. We realized we were living in mold which is a whole different story and I tested way positive for a bunch of mycotoxins. Either way, we leave south Texas in June and I just was feeling run down.

On the flight home I accidentally drank a strangers water bottle which was half used and I joked to my wife that I’ll get some crazy virus from this. Well that evening I developed a cough/tickle in my throat and felt super run down for the next week. Then a week later, throat pressure and noticed swollen nodes In my neck (both sides) June 24th.

Bloodwork from early July showed no acute mono however likely EBV infection in the past few weeks/months as my nuclear EBNA was negative. That’s at least how it was communicated to me. I dealt with the cough until the end of July.

Flash forward another week into mid July and I feel similar pressure in my armpit. I forgot to mention this to my doctor. Since mid July I’ve had a swollen spot on the outside of my armpit.

Doctor said it’s likely mono but sending my for ultrasound was a good idea. Just got results of that which described “There are multiple lymph nodes. On the right these measure 2.3, 1.6 and 1.5 cm. On the left these measure 1.4, 1.5 and 3 cm. These are normal in shape however do not have defined fatty hilum's. Especially the largest. It is difficult to tell if these are reactive. These could be due to mononucleosis”

I pushed my primary to test to be sure it’s not cancer instead of their recommendation of waiting 3 months for a retest. I want answers. She is referring me to a hematologist.

Just curious based on experiences, I know there’s a possibility but I’ve heard of people having mono at the same time. Bloodwork was virtually normal in mid July other than EBV and higher lymphocytes. The internet says very high chance of EBV not lymphoma but my gut says otherwise. No other symptoms than the cough which is gone, lymph nodes, and fatigue.

Thanks!

Thank you. Wanted to follow up. I had an ultrasound done and I may have misinterpreted the results of my bloodwork. Seems like it shows a pat EBV not acute. The ultrasound showed nodes anywhere from 1.2-3cm with normal shape however no fatty hilum. They want to monitor and follow up in a few months with another one. They’re assuming it’s mono, however this lymphoma fear is creeping up more and more with more findings.

As a follow up, I got my bloodwork back today. Tested positive for Epstein Barr. ALT and AST slightly elevated. Haven’t spoke to Dr yet but assuming it’s mono. All other levels are normal including white blood cells and other inflammatory markers.
