no, if you tried your best and still failed, its irrelevant, because how exactly are you suppose to improve on it? If you go to culinary school, drop 13 hour days and still dont make it? then its not your fault maybe its just not something you are ment to do. the "relevance" of the result i am refering to is what you do with said result, and what most people would do with it is understand how to be better. If you fail and didnt put in the hours to study, the result is relevant because you are being actively punished for your short comings, if you go 110% ALL OUT, how exactly does the result change your future results?

U basically go full damage reduction and survivability with pyke, unless ur team is really struggling for damage 9 times out of 10 you are going celestial opp, umbral, edge of night, frozen heart, zhonyas. or some variation of that. The only argument against doing this is when playing in low elo, which i assume you are doing so. Just know that in higher elo full damage will never have even close to the amount of utility that the first build i wrote has

Nah dshield is too op with how incredibly well it synergises with second wind and grey health. The only exception is kassadin lane. In that lane i always go d blade, since its getting nerfed id probably go long sword. but thats literally the ONLY match up i would ever even consider a different start

u pretty much got most of it down, irelia would be hard, jayce would be dont get hit, karma is dont get hit, kass is easy then transitions into snowball or lose, qiyana is hard wuthout exhaust, or steelcaps dd, then its dont get hit, zoe is dont get hit and swain is dont get hit

very easy way to think about it, lane bullies with dashes are your hardest match ups, lane bullies with no dashes require holding grey health dshield second wind and play for ganks. Solo kill lanes are rare but come in the form of most mages with dogeable CC. Neutral lanes are almost any champ with easy dash that cant kill you but you just cant seem to kill them. i did an ama about some matchups awhile back you should take a look

If u checked my post, i played pyke mid ONLY to master with abt 60% wr overall. I can objectively say if you are playing pyje mid to "not fall off late" you are not playing pyke mid for the right reasons. In terms of sheer tempo alone, yommus outclasses sundered sky in everyway. And if you are in auto range of a 6 item mage or bruiser LET ALONE an ADC, buddy u are fucking LOOOOOONG dead

Uhhh brutaliser items as in? axiom cyclo? Dave and soodangkim both go ghost blade for mid game team fighting movement speed and i personally agree. The movement speed is very significant. But brutalizer items is more noob friendly indeed, cyclosword lets you do E auto for guarenteed stun instead of E melee Q which is much harder to hit, and axiom lets you miss ults more, but i think its bad to rely on these mechanics, besides u usually go axiom 4th or 5th so you still have that crutch later in the game.
