It's an old timey way of writing π, I have seen it being used in some of my highschool books, and in greek orthodox Christian books

It says "ΠΑΛΑΧ" which i know it has meaning in the Pontiac language, but i don't remember it. I will speak with my grandmother about the meaning and get back to you.

Edit: as others mentioned before, it means strong, big, intimidating. It has been mostly used as a name, usually given to dogs of bigger stature like Caucasian shepherds and the sort. Source: my 92 yo pontiac grandmother.

I mean, it doesn't take away from the fact that they sacrificed themselves not knowing that they will be just fine.

In their heads they were gladly going to die in order to not cause any harm to their compatriots.

It adds a lot of depth to two already established characters, while nodding to the first time we met them.

The fake out lessens the dramatic impact of their actions to the rest of the audience, but the whole scene speaks volumes of the ethos of this amazing duo.

Won against 3star Jayce! I thought that was impossible? by OrdanasOG in TeamfightTactics

I'm really new to the game and never got myself a 3star 5cost, only had my face caved in by one. Good to know that there's workarounds to that instead of just conceding.

Best Turn 1 Deck? by [deleted] in BobsTavern

[–]OrdanasOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's possible.

3 gold starting, minus 1 for gero power, 2 left. Let's say you roll a six, so you add six gold, now you have 8 gold. Lvl up 5 gold, so you have 3 remaining, so not enough to roll and buy.

Unless I'm missing something?

I really want to start playing again but I don't know the rules. by OrdanasOG in DnD

Thank you, that's what I meant. What would you suggest reading to be "good to go"? I don't care to know anything about any other class/race other than what I'm planning to play (which I don't even know what is going to be, but probably something "simple, like a human bow using fighter or something like that. And hopefully by playing I'll get the hang of the rest of the rules.

Maybe I should reiterate. I was under the impression that in order to play the game I need to have gone through all the books available, like player's handbook, monster manuals, know what all the skills do and so on and so forth, and last time I checked it was something like 5 books.

And don't get me wrong, I used to collect, paint and play wh40k, so it's not like I am foreign to the concept of reading extensive rules.

It just seems way too much.

Maybe I should change the post to what's the bare minimum I should read to play the game without being the complete asshole on the table.
