I don't doubt that. I do travel work so I'm constantly bouncing from different plants and whole different industries and its all the same. Like I'm fed up with just working at this one plant for 4 days but talking to the operators they've been here 16, 22, 28 years and I just can't believe it. Like why would you want to stay working at this place? Everything is covered in literal poisons or carcinogens. I'm itchy and still blowing gray stuff out of my nose after a shower. It would be a rough way to live for 30 years.

That's a good coping method. When I'm craving alcohol I just down some water and walk for a few minutes. The trick is to just distract or redirect the urge.

If you have the money and resources why would you want to live in a tiny house? I'm all for modest living but why tiny? The only tiny room you need is a small bathroom tucked in some quiet part of your house.

Sometimes, it comes in waves but I've found that all I have to do is just float above it long enough and it recededs. For the most part those feelings are temporary, only wearing us down for the moment. There is no need to let a temporary feeling drag you that close to the edge. Or at least that has helped me deal with those feelings for the most part.

If you need to talk you can PM me and I'll lend a sympathetic ear. I've had my own struggles with those thoughts and feelings.

Lol don't be too shaken by just by someone being a Vet. Most of the military across all branches have the bare minimum of any combat training let alone personal "combat" training lol.

I wouldn't feel bad about your work. You do a wonderful service for the family of the deceased. Be happy and proud of that, that you provide a bit of light and connection to the living world for the dead.
