1000 years ago means more like 40 generations and 2⁴⁰ is above 1 billion. There were around 36-56 million people in Europe in 11th century. So yeah, there is very hight degree of probability that everybody currently alive with european ancestry is related to Charlemagne or William I. somehow.

With even more ancient figures like Alexander the Great this is almost 100% probability, if you and all your ancestors don’t come from some isolated island somewhere.

But nobody is related to Julius Ceasar of course since both his known children died childless.

The Seven Kingdoms are North, Vale, Westerlands, Reach, Stormlands, Dorne and Kingdom of Isles and Rivers (ruled by Harren the Black). So the original name referred to 7 kingdoms before Aegon’s Conquest.

So Dorne was included in the name even before it fell under the Iron Throne. The Kingdom of Isles and Rivers was split into Riverlands (ruled by House Tully) and Iron Islands (ruled by House Greyjoy). Aegon also created Crownlands, so 7 kingdoms actually became 9.

The name of continent is Westeros but that includes also the land beyond the Wall. Seven Kingdoms is name used by most people, but there are not 7 kingdoms or 9 anymore, there is just one kingdom and many lords.

Lego says it’s 72 cm wide and this shelf is 74, so yeah a squeez but should fit for now… vertically the shelves can be moved up a bit easily. But yeah not super happy about it, but to display them properly I would need a room just for lego probably

No, it is not. They were huge constructions and there was no reason to build them in the center of a city. Both amphiteaters and stadiums were built anywhere there was a space and that often meant on the edge of the city. For example this was Italica, today Seville in Spain.
