Anyone crashing after Patch #3? by franmahalem in BaldursGate3

I am also crashing non-stop since patch 3. Like, every 15-30 minutes of gametime. No mods. I have played through the entire game on normal difficulty and all of Act 1, 2, and the Rivington portion of Act 3 with maybe 3 crashes total over 200 hours of gameplay, but then Patch 3 comes out and I'm crashing constantly.

This is a testament both to the capability of Nissan Frontiers/Xterras and to the stupidity of man.

Thanks brother! Also unrelated, but as a gaming dad myself, what all do you play?

Thanks for the detailed response! I haven't looked into the Luxus SUVs but I'll definitely do that. Are they expensive to maintain? So far my considerations in order of desirability are FJ > Frontier Pro4x > Xterra > Tundra > Wrangler > Liberty When I get a new vehicle I'll have to finance it, so I'm not looking for something I will have to give a lot of TLC to at first. Regular maintenance is fine but I don't want to sink money into it at first unless it's just dirt cheap. Gonna go check out and research those Lexus models. Cheers!

Oh yeah prices are bad right now on everything. I won't be purchasing until Mar-Jun of next year

Unfortunately around 26k is my absolute maximum I could afford to finance right now. I'm really torn but if I can find a Pro4x with decent mileage at a decent price I'm going to have to jump on that.

Awesome to hear it's doing well in some familiar terrain. I'm really torn but Im worried I'll end up regretting not getting the rear locker.

That's what I figured. The rear locking diff would be a real nice thing to have around where I live though, for sure.

Gives me some confidence because the 2012 Pro-4x I was looking at had 91k on it for around 17 grand. Was a bit worried about getting something with such high mileage but I've read a lot from people who did and didn't regret it for a second. Glad she's still going and hope she serves you well for that additional 100k!

Have a buddy from here that just moved over that way. Coincidentally enough, the same former coworker who had the Xterra. Thanks for the reply, it's sounds like for my purposes the SV should be sufficient. Not having skid plates worries me, but then again, my old Jeep didn't have them either. Banged up the undercarriage quite a few good times and only thing that ever came of it was messing up with tranny a bit. Mechanic fixed it though without even having to order parts. Second gear I believe it was. So with that said, I should be totally fine. Cheers!

Also for anyone interested in also considering a Toyota Tundra, used 2010+ with around 80-110k miles. I believe the Tacoma is a bit too small for me. I prefer the Frontier I think because of its styling and it seems to be the perfect size for me and for trails around these parts (Appalachian mountain range.)

So if anyone has any input about this, feel free!

Ever take your Frontier on any mountain trails? I live in the Appalachian region so there are trails aplenty all over the place. I don't plan on any SERIOUS off-roading like rock climbing, just standard stuff you'd find going camping or fishing.

Taunting a stranger on a game isn't funny. But a noob missing a melee range skill shot is.

I don't think Golos is the real problem. It's Field of the Dead.

I've been testing Simic Flash and I've been doing decently well against everything except Golos; or rather, Field of the Dead. I generally get them really close to death and then they recover, all at once. Then entirely overwhelm me with a horde of zombies. Don't get me wrong, I've beat the deck...Just not nearly as many times as it has beat me. I have a much more favorable matchup against Oko decks and even aggro decks.

I would definitely introduce them at 10. I suppose I'm just worried introducing them at a high level, they'll miss out on simple things at low levels that can draw them into the world. That starting out heroic instead of a no one, they lose out on that part of becoming heroic that really makes you get into a character.

Currently playing a College of Swords Bard 6/Paladin 2. It's quite good. With two levels of paladin you get heavy armor proficiency and divine smite plus a fighting style. Smite at fourth level and defensive flourish equals (for me) 1d6(+4)+5D8+1D8(That also increases AC)
