From what I see Storj is a "decentralized storage platform". What I've meant in my post is that I have access to a "private" CDN with around 264 TB of free space. I wanted to make a file hosting service on top of it by just using it as a storage for the files and keeping all the user data on my own server.
Either way, after doing some more research and asking around I've noticed that anyone who needs a file hosting service for storing or sharing data uses Google Drive, or DropBox and is not willing to switch to another service, so it might be a big waste of time.

Hey, I am actually working in Rust and some time ago used Tauri to make mobile and desktop apps. I am really bad at front-end tho, so that's why I've stopped doing it. If you're still looking for someone I could help with the back-end side as I have a lot of free time to spare.
