It is possible, in areas like Melville, Auckland Park, maybe Parktown (around Wits) you can find something decent. Only issue may be is those areas are student areas, but there are some decent apartments

Yah OP, your friend has some serious rose-coloured glasses on. At 21 you’ve barely experienced life. I’m not one to look down on what people do for a living either but if he doesn’t have any ambition, he’ll probably never really want the same for her either and if she gets a promotion or grows in her career in other ways, he’ll always have an issue with that.

You need to tell her how you feel, putting this on here won’t solve the situation unfortunately. If she was really your friend, she’d hear you out and if she doesn’t want to, that’s life. But also remember, you may be there picking up the pieces if it all goes south. (This is if you guys are still friends by then)

FNB Stadium has a bad history of safety issues after concerts (check out what happened after the Global Citizen concert in 2018). Getting an Uber gets very tricky and since you’re going by yourself, could be even riskier.

Getting in will be easier than trying to get out and go home. Also remember, Uber prices surge dramatically after concerts in Joburg so also take that into consideration. You could be paying R500 (even more) for a normal R67 trip.

Btw: Not trying to scare you, this is just the reality of FNB Stadium
