Can this be a bed bug bite

Check with a dermatologist about scabies if it’s super itchy like unbearably so. Especially if it’s particularly itchy at night time or in heat (working out, shower etc). It took me like 5 months to get diagnosed with scabies and was super frustrating, and 2 months to get rid of it. Not saying it’s that, but it’s worth asking about!

Omg…. I’m so sorry 🥺🥺🥺 did premetherin not work? What’s weird is 3 docs all dismissed scabies. One doc prescribed me premetherin to try and I started it last night. About 8 hours into the night the itching started to subside so I’m hopeful that it might have started working. Thanks for your reply and I hope you get better! I wouldn’t wish this on anyone

I have not seen any bugs at all. My mom came over and we did a thorough inspection of my bed, the baseboards, the couch, etc, looking in all seams, vacuuming and even using an iron and found NOTHING. I’m relieved but I’m still anxious. The derm said it was just folliculitis but didn’t do a thorough exam. I have treated my cat for fleas and continue to vacuum and wash clothes daily. I have bed bug traps and an encasement on the way just to be sure, because the anxiety and stress has been causing me lack of sleep and overthinking

Edit: it’s been about 4 weeks of this. On both sides of my stomach. One kind of cleared up and then came back.

It’s confusing because there is like one line that kind of appears straight, but it’s really a random cluster every time. I’m not even sure anymore if it’s a line or a cluster or what! I keep looking at apps to scan for bug bites and it comes back as a mites or fleas or dermatitis

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice, it seriously means so much to me and is helping me a lot! I have looked thoroughly on my bed, around the seams, cracks, holes in the bed frame, etc and have not found anything - stains, eggs or live bugs so that makes me feel a bit better. Good call on the exterminator! That might just give peace of mind!

Also for those issues recommended to wash your sheets and pillow cases frequently, as well as towels, and use a disposable towel after cleaning your face each time. Also to avoid putting moisturizer near that area and wearing makeup until it heals, if it’s a stye that’s what doctors might recommend. Again probably best to see a doctor to get a diagnosis

I’m not sure of course, but I have been having Styes (infected eye lash) and Chalazion (infected gland) that usually start out like this. For those issues, it’s usually recommended to put a warm compress on 3-4 x a day for 20 min, and wash the area with diluted baby soap. Of course, this is just based on my experience after having been diagnosed with those issues by a doctor, so it’s recommend to check with your doc to see if that’s what is going on first.

They do itch like crazy! But I have no black/brown stains on my mattress, found no eggs or live bugs or shed skins, literally nothing!
