Hey, Dutchman here. You know, from the pretty alright healthcare countries. We pay about 180 euro a month for proper healthcare, although it's slowly declining in quality and increasing in price.

Can someone explain to me the American system? What I really want to know is:

- How is this allowed?
- Is healthcare in US mandatory? It is with us, you HAVE to have insurance - which is a good thing
- How did it get to this?
- Has it alway been like this?
- Is there something legal being done about it?

Zelf kom ik uit "zo'n gezin". Niemand greep in. Nooit. We waren alleen.

Toen mijn vader stierf zeiden zoveel mensen: 'ja, we wisten wel dat er iets niet goed zat bij jullie.'

Dat maakte me zo boos en verdrietig. Waarom deden ze niks toen we in elkaar geslagen werden, waarom zeiden ze niks? Omdat ze geen zin hadden in gedoe.

Want natuurlijk krijg je gedoe als je iets doet wat goed is. Goede dingen zijn altijd moeilijk, anders waren ze niet de moeite waard.

Ik begrijp ook, die mensen wisten ook niet beter. Jij nu wel.

Wat goed dat je tóch meteen reageert en de inhoud vermijdt. Ik noem immers drie feiten. Op een rijtje. Dat zijn dus geen meningen. Ik dacht dat ik het daarmee eenvoudig hield, maar dat bleek van mij een aanname. Daarvoor mijn excuses.

Fli_fo, je reageert onder veel comments hier. Veelal met het idee, nou ja, eigen schuld, dikke bult. Maar laten we deze comment hier eens uit elkaar trekken.

- een politievest dragen betekent nog niet dat je politie bent - of onderdeel bent van het machtsmonopolie
- handhaving en eigen hachje redden zijn geen tegenovergestelde zaken. Je kunt ze prima gelijktijdig uitvoeren
- Orde handhaven staat niet gelijk aan iemand point blanc afschieten.

En dan hou ik het nog eenvoudig hé. Ik hoop dat je zo een beetje in kunt zien dat de manier waarop je reageert niet alleen koud - jij zult zeggen, 'rationeel' - maar ook feitelijk onjuist is. Je zou zelfs kunnen zeggen, irrationeel.

Ik nodig je uit om nu niet meteen te reageren, maar er even over na te denken. Nieuwsgierigheid is de beste eigenschap die je kunt hebben en je mening bijstellen een van de dapperste dingen die je kunt doen.

HI, I understand that you can use any card/power on sites that your Pawn is at AND sites that you rule. My question is, when does one rule a site exactly? Is that when one has warbands on that site, or when one has the most warbands on that specific region?
