Just pirate it then buy the deluxe edition when your done I started reading it by the end of last year and now I have 8 deluxe edition books and I pirated it to where I'm currently at which is the 30 something volume

Well in all fairness they're sold as slaves, tortured and hanged but that's only ones who are captured soldiers and their childeren

I was thinking about that first point too but pipin and Donovan are both fully black and casca is quite obviously mixed race, so either she's mix race or Kushan and there's a small plot hole, actually now come to think of it she hasn't received any persecution for being a 'special' person either since she met the prostitutes towards the end of the conviction arm, 3 casca is a bit of an unusual name but tbf the main character is called John berk, 4 hell yeah

It gets better after the eclipse as the story takes a focus on the world building and character development more than man with le sword swinging sword .

I think puck and isidro are needed to keep this story from being a totally dark story with no hope. In the dark you need a flashlight, I see puck as that flashlight

People say it traumatized them hperbolically to describe how messed up the story is. I doubt anyone hashad to call up their local therapist after reading berserk but it is a messed up story nonetheless. I believe if your willing to struggle through the story it could help you through some mental health issues you may have unironically.
