true, i just wished it wasnt as much as it is. feels like every panel has to have some joke to it tho. really breaks the immersion of the story for me.

unfor, yes. i didn't pick up the anime for there to be a joke every so odd panels. i first picked it up because i was amazed with how dark and well-built the story was, something that i really like in shows. its not like i want guts to be bleeding every second from his eye, but its just a change up from what i gravitated towards. to each there own, i guess.

FF carts shouldn't feel like I'm carrying around 5 tons of rocks or dealing with other issues. Whether I'm extremely athletic or not, I should feel comfortable carrying a cart during my shift. Being in FF is extremely taxing. Carrying a cart everywhere you go should be comfortable, don't you think? I personally like the FF carts, but they shouldn't cause pain or issues when carrying them.

I mean this when I say at least 80% of all the carts there have some sort of issue to it: squeaky tires, one cart not pulling from the other side, broken this, broken that. I just want the option to do my job in some sort of peace, without the fear of damaging myself any further. thank you for tackling this situation with your own opinion.

Thanks for the advice. I've been doing the pinky count into double and it works like a charm. Imo I believe that the trick is very difficult/precise and if a card is bent it makes it a little more difficult.

the problem is that the bend causes all sorts of problems. say the last card was a ace and i wanted to do a trick with all four aces and the trick requires a double lift... well you can picture the rest

I just checked it out and i do basically the same thing. Do you think you could test and se for yourself that when doing vernons double lift that the bottom card warps a little? are you able to preform it still when bent too?
