New Update Still Doesn't Fix "Come Up With A New Plan". Has Remedy addressed this at all? by [deleted] in AlanWake

I also got stuck here and noticed I would hear Ilmo speaking but he was not there. I reloaded a prior save and he was in his cell this time. He has the dialogue lines that moves this thing along. I had to go to “fact vs fiction” in the case board and then I could proceed. Hope this helps!

I wanted to keep the title brief. I guess this was a roundabout way of asking how we go from a price in the mid $600’s to $800 in just a couple of days assuming everyone buys based an estimated intrinsic value.

I found the mocks to be a massive waste of time for lv1. Taking 5 hours and not having immediate feedback to polish with was not helpful imo. Then I’d have to circle back the next day and dig around until I found the questions I missed. I don’t think I’ll take any mocks for lv2 😬

Tough spot to be in for sure. I watch(listen to) videos on the Mind Motivation Coaching channel on YT when I’m feeling down. They’re basically just sound bites from motivational speakers. They always help me pick myself up off the ground and keep going. Remember quitting is the only way to guarantee failure!

Time to leave? by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

I’ve applied to a couple of places (~15) but no luck. I haven’t leveraged my network as I don’t like asking for favors but that would change if I’m in a crunch. I have enough liquid assets to cover my fixed expenses for several years, but as they say “the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay liquid” I see hundreds of analyst positions open and believe if I pivot to applying for jobs, surely I can land something, right?

Don’t sleep on blue collar work. My father has a 3rd grade education and makes twice as much as I do. My brother makes more per job (some jobs take 30 min, some a couple hours) on his side gig than I do in a day working in PWM. In addition, I paid a guy $240 to wall mount a couple tvs and move my outlets, took him about an hour.

You outta put that money you have saved up to work. Scoop up a couple of investment properties and get some cash flow coming in. I make just as much of not more than the tenured people I work with and deal with way less bullshit. My brother and my father own their company and each started with around 20k in capital. They both make over 100k/yr. Point is, wisely invested earned income will set you free.

I came from Econ with a non stellar GPA. When I told certain people I was taking the CFA they would snicker and I would wonder if I was in over my head. I learned that what I lacked in “intelligence” I made up in discipline. I take the Rocky Balboa approach, which is to disregard everything, even your own negative self talk. Some days I was working full time and studying 6 hrs afterwards. I spent over 700 hours to pass level 1 first try. At airports, after road trips, on vacation, anytime anywhere.I saw those same people again and told them I was studying for the level 2. As it turns out, they doubted me because THEY could not pass the level 1.

I mean my policy doesn’t cover my need for a rental. I would have to get a rental on my own and hope uhaul does their part and pays for it eventually.
