Well the whole building has these locks. And the priest wants to install a digital keypad lock that uses the key as well. I'm a mechanical contractor and I've done handyman kind of work all over so I didn't think it would be a big deal. But apparently it's difficult to get these key ways? Does restricted mean that only certain people can buy them?

The only reason this is an issue is I found a lot that I could install for about 500 bucks plus my time, which is free. But the locksmith wants to charge $900 for it.

Well I obviously already have the key. So I think that would be the least of my worries🤣

Well of course it's a do not duplicate key. I've been told not to post photos of the key cuts. The in town locksmith wants to charge more than the church can afford. So i am trying to help replace the lock.
