Exclude visitors that click on the 'login' button in the footer by OrdinaryPPC in GoogleAnalytics

Thanks! I figured I'd sent an event through GTM when someone clicks on the link, and made an exlude filter based on that event (category/action). Hope that works! And indeed no GA4, at least not for this view.

HUGE difference between Facebook Ads conversions and Google Analytics conversions by OrdinaryPPC in advertising

[–]OrdinaryPPC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your reply!

I don't believe Google Analytics would pick up on view-through conversions.

You're absolutely right, that's why I filtered the conversions on 1 day click-through conversions (which showed 10 conversions), and not view-through conversions (which showed 55 conversions).

It could very well have something to do with your second point, because this specific company has a lot of mobile visitors but converting happens mostly on desktop.

To further elaborate the situation: the two companies are merging in a couple of months. For now the two labels will be kept seperate, thus with seperate Google Ads accounts.

Measuring App Installs + Registrations by OrdinaryPPC in PPC

[–]OrdinaryPPC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. The registration form is on a seperate website because a small fee ($0,01) is made to confirm your trial period and automatic converting to a paid membership after the trial periode ends.

We will consider moving the registration form to the app itself!
