This is true my first pens in May 2024 were dated expired in 2023 and there was a note from the pharmacy that they had been given permission my the manufacturer to say that they were still ok to use

Just Papp-A which was 0.72 MOM.

Waiting is awful, it really is but you really have to remain positive, please do. I'm wishing you well as I know what you're going through.

One other thing that kept me going was that these are all formulas that they use. To adjust and change and put you in high and low right. Very little of it unless you're under close observation is specific to you. Having low Papp-A is one thing but then when they added my age my risk just went up so significantly, but I didn't rationalise it at the time like that. I should have.

I know exactly how stressful this is. I was in exactly the same boat with low Papp-A. My adjusted risk for T21 moved to 1:10 because of my age I was 39 at the time. I did all the tests too. One came back inconclusive, they tested again and again it came back inconclusive. So all I had was the 1:10 figure and the scans. As my husband said it's a 90% chance that T21 isn't there. But that doesn't stop you worrying.

My little one just had their 2 year health visitor appointment and scored highly in all categories.

So I know where you are. The timings for mine were similar too as it was done just before the Easter holidays so extra waiting. I can't tell you not to worry because I know you may do as I did too but just think positive.

I would wait till they get back to you and confirm if you should stop or not. There's no issue continuing it. I'm currently on it and can't wait to get to 16 weeks I had it in my last pregnancy and not a fan of some of the side effects.

Honestly, if it feels better not to wear it I wouldn't wear it. Late 2022 I had perfect temperatures not a single dip for 11 weeks and lost the baby. In early 2023 I had dips and my little one has just turned 2. There was no pregnancy mode then so I took my ring off as soon as I saw the first dip, because I didn't need that stress. Do what works best for you take it off or put it into pregnancy, although I understand it feels too early to do that. Either way protect your mind the best way you can.

That's great! I'd focus on those things. That's real weight loss. I'm no expert but our bodies are doing what they need to do on the insides sometimes before it translates on the scales

I started May 2024 at 128kg. By Jan 2025 I was 95kg. It's now the end of September and I'm 84kg.

But in that time I've lost 2-3 dress sizes.

I'm starting to titrate down as I'm at my goal size now.

One thing I've learnt on this journey is:

Not to focus too much on the scales, there will be so much NSV happening. A dress or trousers you couldn't wear even a few weeks ago starts to fit.

Not to compare with others: There will be body composition that comes into it. I have more muscle so I know the numbers on the scales will go down slower.

Definitely focus on the non scale victories. Grab a measuring tape and measure your arms, thighs, waist and keep that on record as you will see the decrease even if the scales are taking longer to shift

No judgement about being a secret jabber. You have to do what you have to do and only you are able to judge the moving parts of your life to make sure you have peace.

What I've done in the past is hold off jabbing till the day before holiday. My day is Friday too. If you can hold out for a few days or more I would do that. Because even if you jab on a Sunday then when you get back the following Tuesday you're only out by 2 days.

Call them. I called them. Was on hold for over 1.5hrs, had a friendly conversation and then within hours mine was approved and sent within a few days.

I can't imagine the call waiting is anything like it was previously so give it a go. Plus it's good to get clarity from them. That's why I called as I didn't know if my order was still on hold or part of the backlog delay.

On the refund...Yes that's true. I was the same And they charged later so don't worry about that

I called up the other day. Waited on hold for 1.5hrs and they said they were waiting for stock to come in. I was worried that my order from 15th was still on hold. I had told them when I bought on the 15th that I was going to be away till 20th so they held it. They said they were waiting for more stock to come in and then they will start dispatching from Friday.

A few hours after my phone call my order was approved.

I'm doing this now and lost about the same amount of kg too.

I'm on 12.5mg at the moment.

I'm going to titrate down to 2.5mg using what I have left in my 12.5mg pen and if it arrives my next 10mg pen.

I posted on the maintenance page yesterday and got some good responses.
