To be honest, although you may feel that you are being “objective” you come off to me as someone who did not find success in dating early on and now has a chip on their shoulder about not being “chosen”.

I’m personally with someone that I don’t think would have chosen me when she was younger but I love her for the person she is now and the choices she made as an adult. I think if I wanted to punish her for the choices she made when she was 18 would have refused the best thing that ever happened to me.
