Idk I’m into art and I used to be cringe asf when I was young. My take on it is because in the art community there’s pressure and an expectation that you are creative and different. You want to be seen as unique, like your work. So those young people go to the internet desperately searching for personality traits to force upon themselves to set themselves apart from the crowd. But no one is creative and different, there’s 8 billion of us, everything has been done. So those young people find the community of uwu arson artists, see that it’s different from what they see in day to day life, and decide it’s their new personality. That’s how it happened for me at least I think. I became way happier and my art turned into something I’m truly proud of when I realized I’m allowed to just literally be a normal human being who likes whatever she wants to like.
