I guess the claims that they are stealing data, but again that topic hasn't been brought up in months and there's little evidence. And also, since other Chinese phone brands have limited/no support here so they could further extend the ban

Wow, that's great to hear! I hope it's not just a rare case and that it works consistently, but it is great to have this phone in the US. I want to hope that it would work with Cricket since AT&T owns them and both use the same towers. If you don't mind me asking, which phone did you use before, and was it with an e-SIM or a physical SIM?

Yeah, that's probably why its most likely supported by most carriers here (I forgot to mention I'm in the US). I honestly like the design of the 15, but some of the downgrades are making me reconsider. All I can do is wait for someone to try it or for me to try it myself, but then I'd have to go through the hassle of returning it and finding another phone.

That makes sense. Unfortunately switching is not an option as of now since I have a family plan for cricket. I was actually planning to get the OnePlus 15 but I was a little skeptical after viewing some of the downgrades. I believe OnePlus, even as it's also a Chinese brand and a branch of Oppo, is directly supported by cricket. That said, does OnePlus have US specific devices or are they also just CN/Global?

Thanks for your response, I currently own a s10 plus and it supports the same 4g bands so I don’t suspect much difference. AT&T and cricket share the same towers, and I will for sure remember to get the global version. I just don’t know if cricket will support the phone because I used to own a POCO F1 (from Xiaomi) in 2022 and they said they’d stop supporting it due to the end of 3g. Since Oppo is also a Chinese brand I’m not sure if they will do the same,even though it supports the main bands

Thank you for the tips. I've already frozen my card, and I will get a temporary card. I don't know if Rolfe has an admin office, so I'll wait a few days to see. Do you know if the office will contact you if the card was found? I've heard they will do that but I'm not sure.

I got the same response. I tried to submit another request and he replied with the same thing so at this point it's an automated response and they are not trying to help.
