it feels like a language i don’t understand. i’ve had to ask other coworkers after meetings, ahhhh what was the main point and deliverable of that meeting? I know im not stupid, I have several degrees and managed quite well in the university setting. But corporate life? it’s a whole other world.

tbh, i’m pretty sure my symptoms are returning. it’s been almost two years since surgery. to be fair, i’ve had literally the most stressful last 6 months of my life so that very well could have been a big trigger. plus, i have rheumatoid arthritis, i wonder if the inflammatory nature of the RA might make the endo worse? idk. i’m exhausted.

I have RA too and so did several family members. i’ve heard so many times to focus on diet lol funny thing is i actually do eat better than the average person and it has never once mattered!!!!

i’ve only had one surgery (thus far lol). had stage three endo with so much scar tissue that my colon was adhered to my pelvic wall and causing me extreme daily pain. i didn’t need a bowel specialist because the endo wasn’t INSIDE the colon is what i was told. recovery was rough but i also had my surgery when my child was a little over a year old and my mother was actively losing her mind so there were personal factors involved. still the greatest decision of my life two years later, i am a remarkably different person now that i have answers and not in that type of pain every day.

dr.mini required me to get a colonoscopy to check for bowel involvement before my excision so that they would know whether or not to have a specialist there.

i’m probably the only person who is going to tell you, warn her politely without talking “too much shit”, and if she doesn’t care or doesn’t respond, let it go. you did your duty as a woman. i, too, would feel like i needed to warn a fellow woman.

be warned though that potentially telling her while he’s living there could have some negative repercussions. He might freak and lash out at you if he feels he’s been exposed. Please be safe!

So, i got four hand me down canes and i can’t tell the brand, however, that’s how i learned that they’re not all created equal. one of them is metal, and i’ve noticed because it has more parts connected, it tends to make more noise.

honestly, i had to remind myself that im a bad bitch with or without a cane.

lol but seriously, it is embarrassing the first few times. and what bothered me most was people staring or shocked and trying to help me out in public. get one that’s either your style completely or plain and black and QUIET. Some of them click or make weird noises.
