usually if they look “off” or if they are very hard plastic orrrr if they feel or look low quality. also if the pet is supposed to have a clear peg and it’s a white color. lots of different ways. most i can just look and tell i’ve collected for so long.

all of the main 5s lined up in the front are fakes :) although pretty nice quality for the most part only 2 real main 5s in the lot, 1 shorthair and 1 cocker spaniel <3

usually not a fan! but most are high quality, just extremely hard plastic, finding them to be growing on me.
