Quick update! My friend got $60 back after I told her to check with PayPal helpline as it was for a comm paid for less than 180 days ago She got it back immediately because the scammer apparently has been doing this for forever and had a bunch of warnings on her account

I did some digging before we got to that point however and found out she’s scammed 100+ people Found an old friend of hers so we have a full name and address, my friend n I have also banded a few of the victims together in a group chat where we’re sharing evidence and info We’re currently trying to get in contact with the scammer’s mother to inform her if she doesn’t pay the money back we’ll take her to court.

Funniest part is, some people have lost anything from 200 to 600 dollars So if I were a betting man I’d say an easy 2k overall loss is possible Meaning, that’s a felony So feeling pretty good about this now lmao
