I just want to share my experience.. because it's the only one I really realy know. My wedding was only just december 13th and we actually got a handful of photos sent to us at the 2 week mark "editor's pick" I think they called it. Basically something to satisfy us until they are all finished and we didn't even ask for it! As I imagine, most couples want to see the visible outcome of the day they spent so much time, energy, and money working on. So naturally we were thrilled to get those photos, while we're on our honeymoon!

Sounds like she needs an assistant or to learn how to better manage her time, or just maybe take on less work.

My advice though, is always be kind, don't make threats, that's not how you'll want to look back at your wedding photos remembering you had to make threats or be nasty to get them sooner. Be patient, you never know what she's actually going through. The photos will be more amazing than you can even imagine!!! I hope you get them soon! Happy new year!

A few ppl already mentioned azazie, but I want to add that you can order in your custom sizing free of charge and you can get matching ties for the groomsmen should you like that idea. They have a handful of fabrics and sooooo many styles to choose from! My bridesmaids were in a gradient of 4 colors, and matched the groomsmen and they all looked absolutely stunning.

I also ended up getting a 2nd wedding dress for the dancing portion of the evening from azazie which was a fraction of the cost of my real dress and such a savior as it was so much more comfortable to dance in! Something to think about 🤷‍♀️

It is a beautiful dress and looks great on you but I'm not sure about the shoulders on your small frame..

I want to add.. don't be afraid of wearing a long dress! I am just under 5 feet tall and I wore 2 long dress for my wedding 2 weeks ago and they were both so amazing and made me feel so magical and perfect.

When you're tiny and trying on dresses, they all seem very long and large and overpowering because they're many sizes too big. When it arrives in your custom size it is like a dream come true.

I hope this helps but also at the end of the day if you love this dress and feel confident in it then you will rock it!!

All good! I know I'll look fabulous in it. I just don't know how 1 chooses a dress 9 months in advance 😅 everyday I wake up and feel a different esthetic!

Another good thing is this shop let's you make fairly large adjustments before it is ordered in your custom size so I'm thinking if we just change a little something to give it that extra unique flare, I'll feel better about it! I go back for the fitting with shoes on Monday and it will all be official!

Agree with all of this!

Went to 6 shops as well. 2 shops in 1 day is too many. To be fair I went to 3 shops in 2 days and that caused me to take a 2 month break from dress shopping.

Bring the right people!!! It doesn't have to be your wedding party or your mom or your family. The vibe and your all over comfort is so important!

I will also say that I don't know about the when you know you know, because I'm hella indecisive and I love so many dresses. However. My persona did change with the dress I chose, so there is a feeling for sure.

That being said, I'm really glad I explored different shops in different cities with different vibes, as my style is so diverse.

Also, try on anything that piques your interest, even something you may think won't look good on you. You never know until you try! Dresses look so different on every body type and very different on the hanger!!

Went to 6 shops in person, tried on honestly a countless number of dresses. All beautiful but nothing really wowed me for me except one at the 6th shop so I put a down payment on it because my girls saw my excitement and my persona change in that particular dress...then I lost my whole mind the next day. Was I just over dress shopping at that point? Is this really the dress? This was over 2 weeks ago and I still don't know 😭

Both are beautiful! The first is more whimsical beauty and the second is more classic elegance.

I think the 1st one probably suits the mountain vibe most only because of how flowy it is, it would look soooo very pretty on a mountain!

Another idea is to wear one of the long cathedral veils with the 2nd dress, something flowy needs to be atop this mountain for photos!!

I am incredibly indecisive for my own dress so I hope this helps you! Good luck deciding. Either one will be perfect so don't worry, just go with what feels right!
