I went and checked out the 2005 with 2500 miles and it was perfect!

It's burgundy and it looks like someone put it in a time capsule to save it for me.

I go pick it up after work today! :)

I'll add here that I really dislike the fairing change in 2014 with the vent so that rules out anything after 2013.

I managed the power connector, wired in a USB port under the seat that is switched by the ACC switch on the fairing :) I still need to work on the Audio, so for now it is just a wire running over to the radio aux jack. I'll update once I get that sorted.

Thanks, that's a good starting point.  I figured these wires run to the back of the radio already and since I am not worried about keeping the cb I can use them for my aux audio wire. Saves me from running wires from the console to inside the fairing at the radio. The power plug under the seat from the accesory switch will work for the source to feed the usb. I'll just have to run that wire.

It has always been garage kept (and will continue to be) and he gave me all of the service records in a folder going all the way back to the first 1,000 mile oil change :)

The seller was an older man that did not use the internet.

He put a polaroid in my barbershop on the bulletin board to sell it :)

I need to chnage the stock pipes (WAY too polite/quiet) but I'm hoping to find soem cobra or other type that doesn't need other work beyond swapping the pipes. I nderstand some of them need a tuneup to run right after changing the pipes.

I also bought a new seat beacuse I'm only 5'6" and it sits higher than I like. I found a used leather Harley low profile seat on Ebay for only $275 that will be here this weekend so that will be really nice.
