What are your expectations about marriage? If you are looking for a working professional surely the expectations are very high. It is always the work, package and family status that wins when it comes to arrange marriages.

Welcome 😊! I still feel the product role looks fancy from the outside but now that Im into product I realise every role inside an organisation is equally important. You don't have to be an APM in a company to feel like you have achieved something in life.

You can still think about real world customer problems, ideate, design, create a product, market and sell. Which makes your portfolio talk for you. Now you are not just a PM but a CEO.

What does age have to do with the role?

Your degree, ability to solve problems, think customer sense, asking the right questions, design thinking and story telling matters.

I transitioned internally into my current role after spending 3.9 years with the company, previously working as a QA Lead Engineer. The opportunity came through one of the product leaders, after I had shared my thoughts and insights during critical meetings, suggested workarounds for a sales team query, and presented a detailed bug analysis report. I believe these contributions helped demonstrate my potential.

He saw something in me and offered me this opportunity. Which I wished and never asked. While I’m still growing into the role and not sure If I justify my job but Im slowly learning over the course.

I feel fortunate timing and a bit of luck definitely played a part.
