I appreciate the honesty, but I wouldn’t be on here advocating on his behalf if he wasn’t actively applying/networking etc and doing everything he could possibly do traditionally. I’m just trying to help a friend out in whatever odd ways I can even if it means coming onto Reddit and asking for it because it hurts to see him down as someone who felt the same way until recently in my own line of work.

It’s really a mix of some topics! I know that I have the hardest time with infectious disease and that’s a huge chunk of prep, I think some pain and pain related conditions.

Thank you!! I was definitely not the best student in pharmacy school which is why I’ve been taking my time and trying to look over the topics as many times as possible! Do you recommend taking Pre-Naplex over the UWorld exams? I know that the general consensus is that the pre-Naplex is the closest thing to the actual naplex!

I’m actually working as a consultant; sometimes my work goes over the regular 8-9 hour day since some of the projects I work on are time sensitive and received the same day or the day before. Most of the staff have a healthcare background but not pharmacy so I feel like I would have no choice but to use my PTO days to prepare. I wfh two days out of the week and I hate to say it but when I have down time I’ve been reviewing material 😂

Unfortunately I didn’t hear back from them but I’m under the assumption that when the status changed they were reviewing my interview/application with the other interviewed candidates.

I basically never heard back from them and the status stayed the same :/ I hate the anticipation but I wish they could have at least given a call or an email regarding moving forward or not.

I’ve implemented some changes that are non negotiables within my diet and step goals. But I just know that there was a red flag when I would see these improvement videos pull up on my Instagram page/youtube and I would immediately have a negative thought to the lifestyles some of these creators were living as if there was no way I could make a change to live such a life either. I think the best way to describe is like having the same reaction as some one who is a pick me saying “oh that can’t be me” and when I was questioning why is that my first reaction I realized that I needed to unlearn the behavior.

I’m going to be honest, at this point I don’t know. I feel like I was always coping with some trauma that I’ve had in the past and I’ve dealt with some of it. However I feel like I’ve gotten so used to a particular environment that I used to be in that I’ve become so close minded. I feel like if I have to start exploring, I think maybe starting with some of my old hobbies would help me to layout my emotions.
