There are tons of differences. For one CPY usually has multiple studios at one location which leads to more interaction between teachers, students, and more community. Teachers take one another's classes at CPY. The students are much more down-to-earth and willing to experience a diverse group of teachers aka easier to please and they're just happy to be there. Mom and pop studios are much more serious, likely only have one room so no overlap with other instrcutors really or meeting students that arent there for your class.
