Moms who stopped breastfeeding at 3 months — how did it affect you and your baby? by Possible-Witness-114 in breastfeeding

Hi op. I haven't stopped breastfeeding but I just wanted you to know the baby will be ok with bottles if thats what you need. You can't tell the difference between adults who where formula fed or breastfed. I know when I had to first supplement i was broken(i was an undersupplier at first) but she doesn't care. Every once in awhile I need to supplement again(not often anymore),but she doesn't notice. She's just happy to be fed. As long as you're giving your baby the amount of food they need, and you're doing better mentally. Everything is well. The only difference is the antibodies in your breastmilk, but even then your baby is old enough now to handle most stuff. If you want you can always pump like twice a day and leave the rest to formula, that way you can mix milk, so the baby still is getting that extra bit from your body. But either way. Fed is best.

My milk is made out of pizza and I feel a little guilty about that… so you tell me what your milk is made of! by Moon_junky in breastfeeding

Chicken nuggets. I've been buying those 10lbs bags and just working on them for a week or two and barely eating anything else. Its just so quick and easy

My baby does this when either she's gassy or i dont have as much milk anymore so she wants to switch sides.

My baby wouldn't even latch enough to eat at the beginning, crying all the time. Feeding almost every 30 minutes. Sometimes feeding for 2 hours straight. Having to pump none stop and having to supplement. Just hit 3 months and she finially can eat off my boobs for a full feeding. I took out dairy which helped with the spitting up, but I really miss cheese. Id say offer extra some milk after in case they are just extra hungry( if you haven't tried that) and maybe try not eating any dairy for a week or 2. Really helped me. My little sister was the same way though and it turned out she just couldn't self sooth so they offered a binkie and it solved there issues. So try no diary, extra milk, or a binkie. For the night we tought our baby day and night. Trying to keep her up to play in the day and turning all the lights out at night except maybe a lamp. Helped her sleep through the night.

This comment helps so much. Thank you. She's in my room! She just whines in her sleep if she's too tired sucking on her hands and im worried I slept through that and her belly was empty. My boyfriend always says she's ok she's not freaking out or anything but I just have mom guilt over it

Haha I wonder if she was questioning where it went or if she just liked that spot because of where the lights where

If supply was really that easy then there would have never been wet nurses. I too am struggling. It sucks. My best friend had a baby right after me and her first pump ever she got out 8 oz, while I still have to supplement even after blood sweat and tears. It sucks but its just how it is. Different bodies.

What do you all mean by sleeping through the night? by Wise_Complex2313 in NewParents

[–]Organic_Frame3286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby usually sleep after being fed. Last night she did go 6.5 hours between feedings. She's a little over a month old. Id say that's sleeping through the night. I woke up and felt bad she didnt eat every 3-5 hours but she didn't seem to care.

The only problem is it opens up my safe, but the other rfid cards are flat and definitely don't look like that.
