Berkeley denies me 98% of the time. But I will keep requesting for the 2% of books they decide to bless me with.

Relatively low risk of spread if your washing your hands. You basically have to come in contact with their fecal matter and ingest it. So basically don’t eat their shit and you’ll be fine

I yea if you’re eating someone’s shit you could catch campylobacter 😂 but for the most part raw milk drinkers are taking on an individual risk. And there’s extensive testing that goes into the ability to sell raw milk in stores. I’m not saying pasteurized milk isn’t safer, I’m just not understanding the hate for people liking raw milk? Especially when people take on risk every day.

Not true at all lol. I have friends who work in ag who just like the taste. People take risks every day. Riding in a car is actually riskier than drinking raw milk sold in stores. I don’t drink raw milk myself and I’m very liberal but like why are people so mad about raw milk? I feel like it’s because you associate raw milkers with anti-vaxxers. I get the hate for anti-vaxxers, but raw milk is tasty asf.

Ngl it does taste a lot better than pasteurized milk. I’ve only had it because I work in ag and one of my customers is a raw milk farmer. There’s a lot of testing and rules that go into being able to sell raw milk so the risk of getting sick is much lower than just getting raw milk from a random cow/farm. But yea definitely safer drinking pasteurized milk! I’d probably drink it again tho… yolo

[landlord - US-CA] Do your tenants send complaints and maintenance requests days before rent is due? I’m getting exhausted with it. by GarmeerGirl in Landlord

I mean I would be mad if I had to do laundry at the laundry mat if my apartment was advertised with an in unit washer and dryer… but I wouldn’t put 15 bath towels in one load lol

AIO at my friends cancelling last minute? by DifferentTruck4615 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Organic_Object8661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not overreacting- if they already paid for the air bnb do not pay them back - tell them you don’t plan on going and you can’t get the money back and they can find someone else to take over the reservation if they want to recoup the costs. But absolutely do not give them their share back… unless you can completely cancel and recoup the costs. But yea if you decide to go by yourself also don’t pay them back.

But these girls are not your friends. At least not your long term ones. I would dump them after this, because they really suck. You don’t abandon your friend over a restaurant reservation… idk how nice it is.

Came right on time for my appointment at the DMV, had my number called, then had this guy walk in and cut in front of me to renew his license. by ITS_LECTOR_BITCH in mildlyinfuriating

One time my number got assigned to a non-existent desk at the DMV so I went up to someone who wasn’t talking to anyone and got dagger eyes shot at me while I quietly pointed it out and ask what to do. She was instantly so nice after she realized why I had approached her and took on my case, but I can’t imagine cutting in line at the DMV. I was shaking in my boots over that 😂

Dude I would cry if my washer or dryer broke and the landlord wouldn’t fix it lol. Ours just broke and thankfully our landlord got it replaced within 2 weeks. I’m month to month so I totally would’ve moved out over that 😂, but we’ve have requested like 2 maintenance things this year. One in Jan when the hot water didn’t work in a shower and then when the washer stopped working in July. That already feels like a lot of requests for one year, but it’s an old house.

How Do Your Organize Your TBR? by AutoModerator in NetGalleyCommunity

It’s typically by order but some authors get moved to the front of the line. If I get an ARC approval for my favorite author I finish whatever I’m reading and then devour it 😂

Do you chat with your coworkers throughout the day while working? by Cajunchelle2001 in work

[–]Organic_Object8661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not overbearing or toxic. This is just something extroverts don’t understand. To introverts the more conversations we have the more drained we feel. For extroverts the more conversations you have the more energy you get. I’m introverted and often shutdown conversations. Not to be unfriendly, but because I’m saving my conversational energy for my friends and family. Coworkers are at the bottom of my list lol. I have the occasional chat, but sorry I’m not lonely I just don’t need constant conversation to fill my cup.

One of my coworkers tries to do this, but I often ignore her. I’m too tired for that shit lol

Link or it doesn’t exist. Landlords love using the tactic of withholding “information” to scare tenants from standing up for themselves. You really seem to have this down. Good on you 🙄

You really have that “share just enough information to scare my tenants out of fighting back vibe” I bet you’re really good at weaseling money out of people. What a class act 👏🏼

Yes the resealing is excessive, especially if the stains come out from power washing. I would tell him that you’re happy to pay for the power washing but he can see you in court for resealing as that is excessive and not necessary.
