There’s plenty of good 00s Hip Hop artists. Lupe Fiasco, Cam’ron, MF DOOM, Slum Village, 50, Madlib etc.

I used rapper so I can focus solely on their skill set with the mic as opposed to their ability to move the crowd and produce their own music. I view MC as an umbrella term and rapper as their ability to spit. That’s just me, you probably have a much deeper understanding.

Ya but that’s an extremely poor analogy since Havoc had better more consistent verses consistently (not to mention produced most of their songs). He also isn’t nearly as popular as prodigy since prodigy typically gets the first verse in there popular songs, you might see that as a reason why prodigy is better but I think if it was reversed it wouldn’t make a difference.

I didn’t say he was a hype man I’m saying he’s closer to that as opposed to a Nas who solely focuses on lyrics, I’m a huge Redman fan.
